  • The company has been awarded for its volunteer involvement in the training of people at risk of social exclusion and people with disabilities, training more than 337 people.
  • The event took place at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Centre and was attended by Ana Botella, Executive President of Integra Foundation and Eva Imbernón, Logista's Human Resources Director.



Logista, one of the largest logistics operators in Europe, has received recognition at the Integra Foundation Volunteering Awards 2024. Through the Group's professional volunteers, workshops were organised to improve the employability of severely socially excluded and disabled people through the School of Empowerment and the Integra Tech programme.

 

Thanks to this initiative, the company has been able to train more than 337 people in social exclusion and with disabilities, through a total of 35 workshops in which 33 corporate volunteers have participated. In addition, of the 337 people trained, 143 have found employment that has enabled them to start a new life.

 

Integra Foundation works strategically to collaborate in the fulfilment of the social criteria through the development of projects aligned with the business strategy, improving the ESG rating by the impact generated, the social category and the interest group related to each company. Logista already achieved a distinction in the Compromiso Awards 2023 for its membership of the Compromiso Integra network.

 

The awards ceremony took place at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Centre, an event presided by Paula Gómez-Angulo, Councillor President of the District of Tetuán; Ana Botella, Executive President of Integra Foundation and Ana Muñoz de Dios, General Director of Integra Foundation. Eva Imbernón, Logista's Human Resources Director and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, accepted the award.

 

Eva Imbernón emphasised that: "Through this recognition, we reinforce our promotion of CSR initiatives that help groups at risk of social exclusion and disability. We are proud to have been able to contribute with volunteers from our company to provide quality training that has resulted in new jobs.

Furthermore, Logista’s firm commitment to sustainability was recognised in October 2024 by Sustainalytics, one of the world’s foremost evaluators of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance. After assessing the Company’s ESG criteria, it has awarded it an ESG risk rating of 14.4 points, thus classifying it as being at Low Risk of experiencing material financial exposure to ESG factors and certifying it as Industry TOP RATED 2024 - which assesses high performance in its sector beyond the Sustainalytics comprehensive coverage universe - earning it one of the top 50 ratings in the transport industry.

 

Another consequence of its firm commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is that Logista has once again been placed among the leaders in the sector by being recognised in 2023 with an MSCI rating of AA, on a scale of AAA-CCC. 

 

Logista is also listed on the FTSE4Good IBEX index, which comprises companies that exhibit strong environmental, social and corporate governance practices, and on the Ibex Gender Equality index. It was also included in the Ibex 35 in 2022.
