  • With quality and customer satisfaction as its working philosophy, NACEX has achieved its success by offering services with high added value and extremely efficient and effective delivery.

NACEX, the Logista Group’s express parcel and documentation delivery firm, celebrates its 25th anniversary today.  The history of NACEX dates back to the 6th of February 1995, when its activity commenced in Spain with 110 franchise offices and 8 cross-docking hubs.  Its size has now been tripled to over 300 franchise offices distributed throughout Spain, Portugal and Andorra, 31 hubs, more than 3,000 collaborators and in excess of 1,600 vehicles, all at the disposition of its clients.  On a daily basis, its wide network connects any point on the Iberian Peninsula, offering highly flexible hours and extremely efficient and effective delivery.

By being incorporated into the Logista Group, the leading distributor for products and services to local retailers in the south of Europe, in the year 2002, the company was given a significant boost, increasing its resources, structure and strength, in order to continue growing in the market until consolidating its position as a leading company in the courier sector.

Ongoing commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

With quality and customer satisfaction as its working philosophy, NACEX has achieved its success by offering services with high added value to different sectors, with delivery guaranteed before 08:30h, 10:00h and 12:00h.  In keeping with this firm commitment to the client to deliver, NACEX has invested heavily in technology in order to provide innovative services and optimise its distribution processes, attending to deliveries more and more immediately and flexibly every day.

Accordingly, for example, technology has been applied in order to automate its processes, providing clients with an extremely powerful platform for accessing all relative information on their shipments in real time and allowing them to directly interact in the management of them.  Investment has also been made in optimising the distribution processes and attending to deliveries more and more immediately and flexibly every day by means of cutting-edge technology such as Big Data, the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality.

Rate of growth and innovation

Recently, the network concluded FY 2019, closing on the 30th of September 2019, with an increase of 10.3% when compared to the previous financial year, reaching close to 25 million expeditions.

The innovative nature of NACEX has become apparent on many occasions over these years, during which time it has invested in order to adapt its services to client requirements.  Thus, in 2005, NACEX was already carrying out the strict tracking and tracing of shipments, notifying the consignee of delivery by SMS or email.  In 2012, it introduced its network of convenient NACEX.shop points, and can currently count on more than 1,000 points that make the pickup and delivery of orders easy.  Some years later, in 2016, a specific service for the temperature-controlled shipment of medicines was developed, providing a transport solution adapted to the requirements demanded by the pharmaceutical sector.  In 2017, deliveries were made more flexible by the launch of “My Preferred Delivery,” and in 2018, the calculation of energy consumption and CO2 emissions for each shipment was implemented in its IT system.  This information can be checked by clients on the web page, www.nacex.es.  In addition, the company revamped its Smart Delivery app, which reduces courier handling times and makes sure that every shipment reaches its destination as quickly as possible, with all of the required information and traceability.

NACEX reaches its 25th anniversary with the objective of maintaining its commitment to quality and technology, as the key to success in order to continue making progress and provide each and every client with the most efficient and effective service of the highest quality.
