- Logista Retail will manage the operation of products sold at 100 Q8 service stations until 2024.
Logista Retail and Q8 have signed an agreement whereby the Logista subsidiary, which specialises in the wholesale distribution of convenience products, will be responsible for supplying the shops in the Kuwait Petroleum group’s energy company’s service station network. This is a comprehensive agreement for the distribution of products for sale and self-consumption, which extends to 100 Q8 stations.
The agreement, signed until 2024, covers category management services with the various manufacturers, sales management of the point of sale with GPVs, order reception, preparation and delivery at the point of sale, an after-sales service and financial management for the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
For the delivery process, Logista will rely on Logista Freight, Logista Parcel and Nacex by Logista. For warehousing, Logista will use the new Logista Retail warehouse in Cabanillas del Campo, which has 50,000 m2 of space and which is equipped with the latest technology, providing an ambient, controlled, refrigerated and frozen service.
“We want to support Q8, the 7th-largest fuel distributor in Spain, in the ambitious expansion plan they are seeking to implement in Iberia, for which they need our best service.
