  • The courier company is above the industry average in the four areas evaluated: "Environment", "Labour Practices and Human Rights", "Ethics" and "Sustainable Procurement".

NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and document delivery company, has received the bronze medal from ECOVADIS, the world's leading provider of sustainability ratings, for its achievements in the management of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with a score that position it above 56% of all the companies evaluated.

The company exceeds the industry average in all four areas of corporate sustainability performance, which are evaluated by the independent specialised agency. The area of "Environment" stands out in particular, where it has achieved a score of 70/100.

This achievement highlights NACEX's efforts in favour of quality and respect for the environment, a fundamental part of its business value proposition and its strategy, which is based on providing the best service to its customers while ensuring the well-being of collaborators and contributing to social and environmental sustainability.

Accordingly, NACEX is reducing its CO2 emissions with the sustainable transformation of its vehicle fleet. To move forward with this objective, it has counted on an aid program since 2022 (ECO Mobility by NACEX) that is promoting the renewal and expansion of the NACEX ECO fleet among its franchise network. The company has already put over 3,100 zero and low-emission vehicles into circulation, which meant that more than 76% of the kilometres travelled in 2022 were done using vehicles that pollute less.

At the same time, it is reducing its last-mile journeys,  by boosting deliveries outside of the home via its network of more than 2,700 NACEX.shop points, and has applied improvements in its packaging, achieving a saving of more than 60 tons of plastic in the last year.

The efforts made to provide their services in the most sustainable way possible, have contributed to the improvement in the total score from ECOVADIS, which has risen by 11 points  this year, compared to the first evaluation, increasing from 41 to 52 points.

The ECOVADIS medal adds to the certificates previously obtained by the company, such as ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 45001 Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management certification, GDP Certification for the distribution of medicines for human and veterinary use, and ISO 14064-1, which certifies the calculation of its Carbon Footprint. In addition, the NACEX logistics hub in Coslada has the LEED GOLD seal, which certifies high standards of comfort, sustainability and efficiency of the property, and the TAPA level "A" certification, which confirms an exacting level of security for the most valuable goods.

Thus, NACEX is committed to continue promoting its commitment to quality and the environment in the coming years, to carry on supporting the Logista’s Strategic Plan for Quality and the Environment, one of the most committed companies worldwide with its providers and suppliers in terms of sustainability and climate change at a global level, due to which it is included on the CDP Supplier Engagement Leaderboard.
