  • The 2023 Commitment Awards recognise the company’s work in promoting the integration of disadvantaged groups into the workplace

Logista, Europe’s leading distribution company, received the Integra Foundation’s award at the Commitment 2023 Awards ceremony held on 24 May. These awards are given annually by the organisation to recognise and highlight the work of professionals and companies in the integration of excluded and disabled people in the workplace.

Last November, Logista signed an agreement with the Integra Foundation to promote the integration of disadvantaged groups into the workplace. Thus, the distribution company is committed to offering employment opportunities to vulnerable people, such as victims of gender violence, people with disabilities and/or subject to severe social exclusion.

Logista has thus joined Integra Foundation’s Integra Commitment network. A network of companies and organisations committed to socially-responsible employment, promoted by the Integra Foundation and currently comprising more than 60 companies.

Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo, Logista’s HR, Marketing and Communications manager, received the award on behalf of the company at the awards ceremony held at the Botín Foundation in Madrid. The event brought together more than 150 people, including trustees, HR and sustainability managers, corporate volunteers, partners, collaborators and beneficiaries of the Foundation.

“We are very proud to be part of the Integra Commitment network and to share our commitment to training and including socially excluded and disabled people in the labour market. Logista is firmly committed to its social strategy, which sets out the framework to ensure that the Company is truly diverse and inclusive,” said Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo during the event.
