  • ISO 14064 measures the company’s carbon footprint, validating the greenhouse gas emissions calculated according to the verification requirements.
  • Logista has once again met all the requirements necessary for the renewal of the standard, thus achieving benefits for the organisation and its customers.

Logista, Europe’s leading logistics operator, has announced the renewal of the prestigious ISO 14064-1:2019 carbon footprint standard for the sixth consecutive year, and in so doing it reaffirms its commitment to the environment and sustainability.

The verification of ISO 14064-1:2019 is a significant achievement for Logista, since it accurately validates the calculation of its carbon footprint, which measures the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions produced by its operations. This recognition demonstrates transparency and accuracy in the quantification, monitoring and reporting of the company’s GHG emissions, following the standard’s rigorous requirements and principles.

The audit of Logista’s GHG emissions for the FY22 fiscal period has been verified by SGS, a reputable certification and inspection body. Logista has successfully exceeded all carbon footprint, thus generating benefits for both the organisation and its customers through increased credibility, consistency and transparency in GHG quantification, monitoring and reporting.

Antonio Mansilla, Logista’s Corporate Resources Manager, explained: “The renewal of ISO 14064-1:2019 recognises Logista’s continued efforts to measure, monitor and mitigate its environmental impact, demonstrating year after year our commitment to the fight against climate change through a rigorous carbon footprint assessment process.”

The verification of ISO 14064-1:2019 highlights Logista’s efforts in the area of environmental protection and sustainable practices in the logistics sector. The renewal of this standard demonstrates Logista’s dedication to reducing its environmental impact and its commitment to a more sustainable future.
