Logista, one of Europe’s largest logistics operators, has been awarded the Quality Assessment Review certificate by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IAI) for the excellence of its Internal Auditing which plays a key role in identifying and mitigating risks, as well as in continuously improving business processes.
This recognition highlights Logista’s commitment to excellence in business, the highest standards of good corporate practice, control and transparency in all its operations. This international certification is based on a rigorous assessment process covering several key aspects of internal auditing, including the effectiveness of audit processes, staff competence, as well as adherence to international standards and the Code of Ethics of the internal auditing profession.
The Institute of Internal Auditors is a globally recognised body which assesses and promotes best practice in internal auditing. Its certification is a mark of quality that reflects the dedication and professionalism of companies and their internal audit teams in adopting and driving professional standards and best practices in this field.
The certificate was presented at the Expert Forum held on 24 April, and was attended by Gabriela González-Valdés, Director General of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Laura Templado Martín, Logista’s Corporate Internal Audit Manager, and Diana Muñiz López, Logista’s Internal Audit Manager. During the meeting, the company also participated in a panel discussion on the impacts of the new Global Internal Audit Standards.

Another consequence of its firm commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is that Logista has once again been placed among the leaders in the sector by being recognised in 2024 with an MSCI rating of AA, on a scale of AAA-CCC.
