  • The insurer FM Global recognises the company’s work to protect its facilities in Leganés.

Logista, Europe’s leading logistics operator, has received the Risk Improvement Award from FM Global for its work in fire protection and risk reduction at its Leganés facility. FM Global, one of the world’s largest commercial property insurers, recognises the highest standards for corporate real estate assets with its awards.

 

Juan Carlos Moro, the Corporate Operations Director and Sara Pericacho, the Real Estate Director at Logista, received the award from James Ashcombe, a Senior Account Engineer in the London Operations team at FM Global.

 

Juan Carlos Moro highlighted the work of Logista’s Real Estate department during the awards ceremony. For the company’s corporate operations manager: “This award demonstrates Logista’s commitment to its values and strategy, prioritising risk reduction, excellence and achieving the highest standards for its real estate assets. It is also an important recognition for the Real Estate team and all those involved in the improvements that have been made to meet FM Global’s standards.”

 

The Real Estate department sets the technical specifications for the projects and systems implemented in the assets the company manages.

Another consequence of its firm commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is that Logista has once again been placed among the leaders in the sector by being recognised in 2024 with an MSCI rating of AA, on a scale of AAA-CCC. 

 

Logista is also listed on the FTSE4Good IBEX index, which comprises companies that exhibit strong environmental, social and corporate governance practices, and on the Ibex Gender Equality index. It was also included in the Ibex 35 in 2022.
