- NACEX will increase its workforce by 35% and add 50 vehicles and 40 new structural routes, to maintain service quality in the face of growing demand.
- Deliveries and collections at NACEX.shop points are expected to increase by more than 75% compared to the rest of the year.
NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and document delivery company, has reinforced its infrastructure in order to guarantee its commitments to customers are met, ensuring the reliability of deliveries in the face of the peaks in activity expected at the end of the year. It has forecast a 25-30% increase in activity compared to the usual production for the rest of the year and 8% more shipments than last year's Black Friday campaign.
The personnel area is one of the main pillars of NACEX's strategy in this regard. In particular, the company will expand its workforce by 35%, 5 percentage points more than the previous year.
In addition, NACEX will incorporate 50 extra vehicles to carry out pickups and deliveries between its hubs and franchise offices and introduce 40 new structural routes. Franchise offices will also increase their resources by 15%. All these measures will enable them to cope with the increase in volume and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining the usual excellence in service quality.
Similarly, the NACEX.shop network will continue to facilitate deliveries to consignees and help meet the expected volume of demand as efficiently and effectively as possible. During the campaign, deliveries and pickups through NACEX.shop points are expected to increase by more than 75% compared to the rest of the year. Made up of over 4,000 convenience points, 30% more than last year, the NACEX network of convenience points provides a convenient, flexible, and sustainable alternative for picking up and returning online orders. The key is their broad coverage in Spain and Portugal, and their extensive opening hours. In many cases, they are even open on Saturdays and Sundays.
"Every year, the Black Friday and Christmas campaigns are a big challenge for our industry. Not only are deliveries soaring, but so are returns. And all of this, in a relatively brief period.", emphasises Manuel Orihuela, General Director at NACEX. "At NACEX, we are aware of this, and for some years now we have been implementing a strategy specifically aimed at taking on this increase and thus providing our customers with the reliability and excellence to which they are accustomed."
