Nacex’s agency 4701, located in the heart of Valladolid, added last summer a new ecological vehicle to its delivery fleet.
It is an electric-assisted cargo tricycle, making easier to deliver in areas difficult to access for conventional vehicles, such as pedestrian areas or those with access restricted to conventional vehicles, while becoming an alternative to combustion engine vehicles. This tricycle is an ecological, silent, civic and sustainable solution to traffic in the center areas of a large city, as well as an effective advertising medium.
The initiative has been greatly welcomed by customers and retailers in the heart of Valladolid, mainly among those envisioning environment and sustainability as good business prospects in the current economic crisis.
Delivery with ecological vehicles is part of the Valladolid NACEX agency commitment with the city, consisting in having a full energy-efficient fleet by 2015. According to this, it will also invest in LPG-powered vehicles with minimum emission of CO2, NOx and particles, significantly reducing acoustic pollution and achieving large savings in fuel costs.
