Nacex, Grupo Logista’s parcel and express courier firm, and Zacaris.com joined forces to start the first charity campaign aimed at collecting shoes for the Formació i Treball Foundation.
The campaign, between last November 3rd and January 31st, has been completed with excellent results.
During these three months, 45Kg of shoes in excellent conditions were collected. The success of the campaign has been based on the re-purchase of shoes offered to its customers by Zacaris.com, which previously assessed the product’s condition to grant a discount promotion for subsequent purchases on its online shop. Nacex, meanwhile, collected these used shoes and delivered them to the Formació i Treball Foundation.
The shoes collected will be rearranged and reused in workshops and training courses managed by the Entity, delivered through Social Delivery Programs to people and families in risk or will be distributed through shops managed by the Foundation at charity prices, to obtain profits fully devoted to create jobs for vulnerable people.
