Nacex, Grupo Logista’s parcel and express Courier firm, has joined Recicla Cultura (Recylce Culture) in the initiative that, for the fourth consecutive year, Fundación Servei Solidari (Solidary Service Foundation) has launched aimed at raising awareness on the difficulties for immigrants in learning our language. The initiative has also been useful in raising funds and finance literacy classes carried out by the Foundation’s volunteers.
During the weeks previous to April 23rd, World Book Day and “Diada de Sant Jordi”, staff from NACEX’s network and all those willing to participate, gave used books to the Punto Recicla Cultura (Recycle Culture Point) for the Servei Solidari foundation to sell them since April 23rd.
All profits will be used for these disadvantaged people to learn to read and write with the courses by the NGO Fundación Servei Solidari.
