Nacex, the Logista Group’s parcel and express couier firm, attends today to a new edition of Pharmalog, the pharmaceutical logistics annual event, to be held in Madrid brought by IIR.
In its 15th edition, it includes free access sessions focused on controlled temperature transport technologies and systems and supply chain optimization.
Nacex, in line with its commitment to the pharmaceutical industry, is supported by the Transport Technical Manager, Magda Martínez Aixas, who participates in one of the sessions. A Bachelor in Pharmacy, Magda Martínez Aixas collaborates with the pharmaceutical laboratories’ technical managers to ensure that the requirements demanded by the industry are met. Nacex is also one of the event’s Platinum Sponsors together with Integra2, Logesta and Logista Pharma.
Furthermore, Nacex has recently participated as well in Logimed, the meeting point for logistics and supply chain managers at the world’s leading manufacturers of medical devices. During the event, the 5th edition and held in Amsterdam from November 17th to November 19th, the Europe Premium service was presented, as well as other services focused on the healthcare industry, for home delivery of palliative care treatments, pharmaceuticals, surgical and orthopedic devices with delivery before 8:30h, 10h and 12h.
Since last September, NACEX has AENOR’s first GDP (Good Distribution Practices) conformity certification for human use pharmaceuticals according to the European Commission’s November 5th, 2013 guidelines (2013/C 343/01). This certification ensures that the company’s quality system takes into account the key aspects for the pharmaceutical industry (training, document system, validations, risk assessment, security, traceability…), securing a distribution service according to regulations in force.
