Nacex, the Logista Group’s parcel and express courier firm, has introduced the new NACEXpharma service for assured urgent deliveries before 8:30h, 10h and 12h including Saturdays, with monitored and controlled temperature below 25ºC, to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies and chemists in provincial capitals and cities exceeding 100,000 inhabitants, besides Oporto and Lisbon in Portugal.
NACEXpharma is part of the Nacex’s Premium services targeted at the pharmaceutical industry providing an individual monitoring with delivery confirmation.
This new service includes many high added value benefits for the client in the industry currently not available in the market. In addition to safekeeping temperature conditions, it also provides full thermal traceability with annually calibrated sensors throughout the core transportation network (in platforms, chambers and vehicles), besides physical, visual and weight traceability with information per package incorporated online to the systems. NACEXpharma provides online access to all information and temperature graphics provided by the sensors, per individual delivery and in real time. And everything with maximum security due to premises equipped with video surveillance and access control, and to GPS-geolocated vehicles.
With this new service, NACEX reinforces its commitment to the pharmaceutical industry and keeps evolving and adapting to provide the most efficient quality services according to the industry’s requirements. Since last 2015, NACEX has AENOR’s first GDP (Good Distribution Practices) conformity certification for human use pharmaceuticals according to the European Commission’s November 5th, 2013 guidelines (2013/C 343/01). This certification ensures that the company’s quality system takes into account the key aspects for the pharmaceutical industry (training, document system, validations, risk assessment, security, traceability…), securing a distribution service according to the sector’s demands.
