Logista, the leading distributor of products and services to proximity retailers in Southern Europe, has renewed for five years its tobacco distribution contract with Japan Tobacco International (JTI).

The company will keep on distributing JTI’s products to every point of sale in mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. More than 13,000 tobacconists making one of the most extensive and capillary retail networks in Spain.

Japan Tobacco International is the industry’s third company in Spain, with a market share exceeding 22% thanks to well known brands like Winston, Camel, Benson & Hedges or Silk Cut.

Logista will continue providing JTI and every tobacconist in Spain with the broadest and most specialized distribution service in the industry.

Services provided by Logista to JTI extend to the whole logistics and distribution value chain, including planning and firm supply, stock and order management, grouping, packaging, distribution, invoicing, collection, as well as customer and after-sales services.

Similarly, tobacconists will keep on accessing JTI’s products and benefitting from the broadest and most complete distribution service.

Logista provides tobacconists with the most advanced information systems, such as its portal for tobacconists or its Point of Sale Terminals (POS Terminals), helping them optimizing their business’ management and profitability, facilitating multichannel ordering and access to a broad range of convenience products and services improving the tobacconist’s profitability.

Logista facilitates tobacconists multiple distribution and delivery formulas, both scheduled and urgent or through its provincial network comprising Logista’s 52 cash & carry stores or service points throughout Spain, where they may acquire the products and access Logista’s offer of convenience products, specifically suited to the point of sale and its end customers.
