Nacex, the Logista Group’s parcel and express courier firm, participates for the second consecutive year with Recicla Cultura in the initiative the foundation started five years ago, aiming at raising awareness on the difficulties for immigrants in learning our language and accessing culture.
This initiative raises funds and fund literacy courses carried out by the foundation’s volunteers. During the weeks previous to April 23rd, the World Book Day, NACEX’s facilitated giving used books to the Punto Recicla Cultura (Recycle Culture Point) so the foundation could sell them. Also, this year a solidarity collection and subsequent sale was carried out among NACEX staff, an action that was very well received and highly participated by them.
As every year, all profits will be used for these disadvantaged people to learn to read and write with the courses by Recicla Cultura’s foundation.
