NACEX one more year adheres to the Fundación Esclerosis Múltiple (Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or FEM) to fight against this disease with its "Mulla't - Mójate" (“Commit”) event.
This year, the event will take place next Sunday, July 10th in over 600 swimming pools throughout Catalonia, where everyone willing to get involved in this initiative will have the chance to enjoy a good swim.
Chefs Sergio and Javier Torres sponsored the presentation of the event
Prestigious chefs and brothers Sergio and Javier Torres sponsored the presentation of the "Mójate por la Esclerosis Múltiple", in an event that took place at the Barcelona University gardens last June 30th.
During the presentation, the sponsors called upon the citizens. "It will be a day of celebration and joy for sharing the will to live and keep going on. Is there a better way to spend the weekend?”, the chefs said.
The presentation was also attended by the actor Bruno Bergonzini, himself affected with multiple sclerosis, who also contributed to the call by saying: "Initiatives like this are very important for those who, like me, have the disease. It opens a path for hope, and that is precisely what helps us in keeping going on hopeful".
Novelties in this edition
As a novelty, and besides the act of solidarity, it is possible to take part in the Pan con Tomate Route, to be celebrated since July 7th to July 10th in 38 bars and restaurants throughout Barcelona. For the third consecutive year, an OleAurum olive oil bottle produced by small Catalan producers under the “Olis de Catalunya” brand may be acquired, and they will allocate 1 euro per bottle sold to the Fundación Esclerosis Múltiple.
