NACEX, the Logista Group parcel and express courier firm, has been recognized as finalist in the VII Corresponsables Awards held by the Corresponsables Foundation last September 21st at CaixaForum in Madrid, which recognized the most innovative and sustainable CSR solutions.
During this edition, 432 initiatives were received, with 20 of them awarded and 72 recognized as finalists, 16 of them in the Large Company category.
NACEX was finalist as Large Company due to its CSR work with the “Recicla Cultura” internal awareness campaign. With this initiative during the World Book Day, NACEX organized the collection and charity sale of books among collaborators, a very well received and highly participated initiative. All profits were allocated to Servicio Solidario Foundation to finance the social and language welcome and literacy courses to promote social integration by the most disadvantaged people.
“The jury valued it is an innovative solution, positively impacting people often left out of the organizations’ CSR strategies and that even is usually unsupported and forgotten by governments”, Marcos González, president of the Corresponsables Foundation, said.
