Integra2, the Logista Group’s capillary transport network under controlled temperature, has shown its new ECO capillary network during its 2016 Farma Meeting.
During 2017 Integra2 anticipates it will add 80 ECO capillary delivery vehicles in Barcelona, Madrid and delegations throughout its network when renewing or adding to its fleet currently exceeding 1,300 vehicles.
The firm is already opting for vehicles running with CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). With 3,500Kg capacity, this fleet’s category is ECO regarding CO2 emissions, improving the delivery industrial vehicles with EURO 6 engines in the market since early 2016.
Integra2 shares with its clients the commitment to environmental sustainability. Since July 2015 it includes an individualized report of every delivery’s carbon footprint according to UNE-EN 16258:2013 standards and actively participates in the Quality and Environmental Strategic Plan by Logista Group, recently included in CDP’s “A List” as one of the 193 global leaders fighting climate change.
Integra2 gathered 50 representatives from the main pharmaceutical laboratories in its 2016 Farma Meeting in Barcelona. Its Transport Technical Management showed the latest advances in its GDP (Good Distribution Practices) quality system, certified by Integra2, and the Systems Management displayed new information management tools adding further transparency and value to laboratories when planning and distributing its pharmaceuticals.
During the meeting, Repsol showed the advantages of alternative fuels, and Integra2 explained its Sustainability and Environmental Plan and announced the creation of a Sustainability Committee to, together with manufacturers of vehicles, look into the most sustainable solution for this activity.
