NACEX, the Logista Group’s parcel and express courier firm, keeps fostering change towards a sustainable mobility for urban distribution by signing an agreement with Nissan.

This is part of the company’s CSR policy and is a new step forward in NACEX’s commitment to the environment by promoting among its franchises a sustainable, emissions-free transport network.

With this new agreement reached with Nissan, NACEX keeps providing advantages when acquiring 100% electric vehicles contributing to improve the cities’ quality of air.

The model added to the NACEX sustainable fleet is the E-NV200 van, an efficient, high load capacity vehicle already in circulation in downtown Barcelona.

NACEX gets ready for a future requiring being environmentally-friendly

NACEX’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint are not only related to creating a fleet of electric vehicles. The company has been working for years in other initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its activities with, for example, the development of ecologic and 100% recyclable packaging available to the whole network of franchises or its innovative NACEX Shop Service, a pick-up and delivery points network exceeding 700 points in Spain and contributing to reduce its environmental footprint. Also, since 2014 NACEX has a calculation and analysis system for its activity’s carbon footprint. And it actively participates in the Quality and Environmental Strategic Plan by Logista Group, recently included in CDP’s “A List” as one of the 193 global leaders fighting climate change.
