Integra2, the Logista Group’s temperature-controlled capillary transport network, has certified its Environmental Management System according to UNE-EN ISO 14001-2015 international standards, after being independently audited and found in accordance with the standards requirements by Bureau Veritas. The ertification extends to Integra2 headquarters as well as to its two main operating centres (Madrid and Barcelona).
This new certification reinforces Integra2 and the Logista Group’s commitments to the environment and secures full integration of the environmental management into the business strategies.
Integra2 Environmental Management System systematizes and secures the fulfilment of operations and services according to environmental requirements and circular economy criteria of reducing emissions and environmental risks.
The ISO 14001 certification is the world’s most widely accepted environmental management tool, and implies the external acknowledgement that the work being carried out for years proactively contributes to protecting the environment and complying with Integra2 Environmental Sustainability Policy.
Thanks to this certification, Integra2 increases its competitiveness and strengthens its leading positioning in the industry as a company committed to society and the environment. It so proves that Integra2 works every day to comply with the highest expectations from clients, public administrations and the society.
This certification adds to certifications Integra2 has already been granted: ISO 9001 on Quality, ISO 14064 on Carbon Footprint, and OHSAS18001 on Prevention of Labour Risks, besides being certified on Good Distribution Practices for pharmaceuticals (GDP). These international standards help controlling processes and the ongoing improvement according to the company’s values on excellence, and provide an added value to Integra2 clients.
Integra2 includes an individualized report on each shipment’s carbon footprint according to UNE-EN 16258:2013 standards and actively participates in the Quality and Environmental Strategic Plan of the Logista Group, which was recently included in CDP’s “A List” as one of the 193 leading global companies fighting climate change.
