- The team, the youngest in the championship, clinched the second place of the prestigious sailing trophy, after 10 races fighting for victory with the Bribón Movistar, which ultimately clinched the first place.
- The 45th Conde de Godó Sailing Trophy, organized since 1974 at the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, was held between May 24th and 27th. Three days of strong competition, with over 50 boats participating.
The NACEX Team, the youngest team in the championship, took over the second spot at the final podium of the J80 category of the 45th Conde Godó Trophy. The 45th edition of the Conde de Godó sailing Trophy, organized since 1974 at the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, was held between May 24th and 27th, with over 50 boats participating.
Throughout three days of exciting sailing races and good winds, ten tests were held, in which the J80 team sponsored by NACEX fought for victory up to the last day. With three first positions and four second positions, the Nacex boat, captained by Agustí Altadill, did a great performance, finally reaching the runner-up position.
As said by Altadill, “Our team did a great effort to fight for victory, both for preparing the boat, which proved to be one of the fastest, and for training the crew”.
The next sailing race will be the Catalonia Championship, in which the team is the current runner-up and will continue fighting for victory.
