NACEX, the Logista Group’s parcel and express courier firm, held last November 23rd in Madrid its XXIV National Convention, a key event that yearly allows to review together with franchisees the year’s main achievements and present the main strategies for the future. It has been one of the most attended conventions, gathering in different stages 350 professionals and representatives of the NACEX network of franchises in Spain, Andorra and Portugal, as well as Logista Group’s managers, including its Chief Executive Officer, Luis Egido, who closed the event.
The day’s first part consisted in a guided tour to NACEX’s new cross docking platform at Coslada, the firm’s largest in Spain, where it was possible to see some of the company’s most innovative equipments. Among them the latest technology in sorting, control and security, including a cutting edge control room, allowing to remotely and real time monitoring all NACEX platforms in Spain and Portugal.
Afterwards, attendees met at the Melià Avenida América Hotel in Madrid for the different conferences and assessments presentations. Pedro Fuillerat, NACEX’s General Manager, analyzed the firm’s last fiscal year, which was again completed with very satisfactory results. Among the main projects during 2018, Fuillerat remarked the new platforms at Coslada, Gran Canaria and Bilbao, and mentioned some of the future improvements, including new platforms and investments in cutting edge technology like Big Data and Augmented Reality for improving processes.
The convention also had the participation of Luis Galindo, one of the referencing motivational speakers in Spain, who presented a reflection on intelligent optimism applied to corporations and working. With his energetic and inspiring communicational style, Galindo transmitted much positive energy to attendants, with messages like: “Put your heart, your soul and your mind at full at everything you do, even in the simplest things. That is where the secret for success lies.”
Finally, the Convention held the traditional presentation of awards to the most outstanding franchises in 2018 regarding quality and sales.
