  • NACEX sponsors a new area and a playful activity focused on the courier profession, so children may playfully learn the importance of the courier occupation in the current society and economy. 

 

NACEX, the Logista Group parcel and express courier firm, has created a new area and a new activity for children at Micropolix, an educational leisure centre exceeding 12,000m2 located at San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid), reproducing a city to scale so children may perform activities and games related to different professions. The NACEX area imitates trough games the activity and professions related to the courier industry, providing children with all tools and clothing needed to perform the role and overcome the challenges proposed.

“At NACEX, we believe that creating this new area at Micropolix presents a unique way to communicate the importance of the courier activity in the current economy and society, as well as the values of effort and spirit for overcoming, through an educational leisure activity, which is undoubtedly the best way to learn and communicate”, says Manel Orihuela, Deputy General Manager at NACEX.

Micropolix currently has over 30 themed areas where children between 3 and 14 years old may learn the value of work through games. It has over 250,000 yearly visitors. Micropolix has its own streets, squares, street lamps, bank, city hall, hospital, supermarket, TV set, police, electric cars, etc. In order to enjoy the leisure activities, the children-citizens must work and earn “Eurix”, Micropolix’s own currency. For some hours, children become firefighters, architects, musicians, doctors…and now also couriers.
