  • The award, granted by the elEconomista journal in the I Business Excellence Awards, recognizes the firm’s work and development in the parcel and express courier industry.

NACEX, the Logista Group parcel and express courier firm, has been recognized as “Leading Firm in Express Courier” during the I Business Excellence Awards, awarded by the elEconomista journal to the relevant companies in the country’s economic landscape.

NACEX’s Deputy General Manager, Manel Orihuela, received the award during the ceremony held the 30th of October, at the Fomento del Trabajo Auditorium in Barcelona. As Manel Orihuela said, “we are very pleased with this award, for the recognition it represents to our mission and work to fulfill our clients’ expectations. And, of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the performance of our whole staff, who strives every day to fulfill our commitment.”

This recognition reinforces NACEX’s commitment to service excellence. As a parcel and express courier leading firm, NACEX continuously works for service quality, and so invests every year in technology allowing to support our everyday commitments to its clients.

Among the latest investments stand out those in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented Reality. Thanks to these technologies, it has optimized its delivery processes for a higher rate of success in first deliveries and may predict increases in activity. Meanwhile, it secures clients the best possible experience when receiving a delivery with its “Proxy” system, in order to know the approximate timing for delivery, or “My Preferred Delivery”, in order to adjust delivery to the recipient’s preferences.

The I Business Excellence Awards gathered professionals and managers in various industries deserving the award. The event was hosted by the presenter Elsa Anka and the economist José María Gay de Liébana, who presented the awards. The opening speech was made by Pablo Caño, Chief Executive Officer at elEconomista and the businessman Josep Sánchez Lllibre, president of Fomento del Trabajo, closed the event.
