• Francisco Pastrana, Managing Director of the Group, will report to the CEO
• María Echenique appointed as General Secretary and Board Secretary
Today, Logista’s Board of Directors has appointed Íñigo Meirás as CEO, as part of a reorganization of the Company’s leadership team, which was approved following the passing of the previous CEO, Luis Egido.
Íñigo Meirás, 56, is a Law Graduate from Madrid’s Complutense University, obtained an MBA from the IE and has been the CEO of Ferrovial for the past 10 years. Prior to this, he headed Cintra’s Highways Division after joining Ferrovial in 1992. He was subsequently appointed General Manager for Services, CEO of Ferrovial Airports and General Manager of Ferrovial Group. As CEO of the Group, he successfully headed the Company’s international expansion and diversification process.
Francisco Pastrana, Managing Director of the Group, will report to the CEO.
During today’s meeting, the Board has also appointed María Echenique as General Secretary and Board Secretary, after accepting the resignation of Rafael de Juan, who had occupied the position of Secretary Director for the past 20 years. Echenique is a Law Graduate from Madrid’s Complutense University, obtained a Diploma in English Law from Kent University and, until she joined Logista, was Vice Secretary of the Board at Naturgy, after nearly 10 years working for the Company’s Legal Services Department. Previously, Echenique occupied various positions at the State’s General Administration, including Technical Advisor for the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Advisor for the Ministry of Science and Technology.
