In its quest to guarantee high quality services, meet the commitments made to its clients and provide a response to growing demand from the market, NACEX has moved its hub in Jaén to the Guarromán Industrial Estate.

NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and documentation delivery company, has moved its hub in Jaén to new facilities that are already providing service to its clients.

The new hub is located on the Guarromán Industrial Estate (at num. 1 Avenida Linares), a privileged position from a logistics point of view because it is at the junction of the A-4 and A-44 motorways, towards the South, and has a fast connection to the A-32 towards Levante. Hence, it becomes a key hub for improving operations in Andalusia and facilitating the logistical connection between the centre and the south of Spain. The company has other six hubs in Andalusia (Sevilla, Málaga, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada and Almería).

With a warehouse surface area of 2,000 m2 and 200 m2  of offices, it becomes the NACEX hub with the highest operational capacity in the region. The facility has 27 docking bays for vehicles and 7 for lorries and can simultaneously unload 4 vehicles at a time, streamlining loading and unloading processes.

The hub has a sorter installed with a capacity of 6,000 packages/hour, which has the latest sorting and security technology, affording much more dynamic operations.  In line with the company’s commitment to the pharmaceutical sector, it also has a temperature-controlled storage area for handling the NACEX.pharma service, which guarantees urgent deliveries, with temperature control/monitoring, to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies, and para-pharmacies, including personalized tracking and tracing and delivery confirmation.

Like all the network’s hubs, it guarantees the security of both the facilities and the goods by means of cutting-edge technology that facilitates triple traceability during shipment classification: physically, via the reading of barcodes; by weight, checking and verifying weights and measures using dynamic scales; and visually, by recording the parcel classification process using closed-circuit video surveillance cameras. The hub has artificial lighting by means of LEDs in order to make the centre more energy efficient.

Recently, NACEX also moved its hub in Córdoba to a warehouse remarkably close to its previous location in Calle Platino nº17-18, on the El Granadal Industrial Estate, strengthening its operational capacity in the region.  Equally, in line with its commitment to the pharmaceutical sector, the hub also has a temperature-controlled storage area.
