MERLIN Properties has signed a turnkey project with Logista to build the first warehouse in the logistics development called Cabanillas Park II, located in one of the main logistics hubs of the Iberian Peninsula thanks to its location on the A-2 and its good connections.
The leading distribution company in southern Europe will occupy a surface area of 47,155 sq.m, with the option to add a further 47,000 sq.m within a year. The warehouse will offer all the features necessary to adapt to Logista's current needs, including a 4,000 sq.m area dedicated to cold logistics. It will also meet the highest environmental standards, in line with the rest of the projects developed by the company to obtain LEED certification, as in most of the projects developed by MERLIN in the Gold or Platinum categories; proof of MERLIN's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
