NACEX has recommitted as a “Partner Company” to the Josep Carreras Foundation against Leukaemia, and continues to sponsor a room at the Ronald McDonald House in Barcelona, as part of its commitment to health promotion and medical research.
NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and documentation delivery company, maintains its commitment to health promotion and medical research in order to improve people’s quality of life.
This year, the company has renewed its collaboration agreement as “Partner Company” with the Josep Carreras Foundation against Leukaemia, which it has been linked with for many years. The Foundation is an independent organisation that promotes all kinds of projects that benefit patients and medicine and that are financed by contributions from its partners and donations.
By renewing this agreement, NACEX continues to provide support for the medical research carried out by the Josep Carreras Foundation in its fight against Leukaemia.
In line with its commitment to health promotion, NACEX has also renewed its agreement with the Ronald McDonald House in Barcelona, where it has sponsored one of the rooms in the house. It will also continue to collaborate as their official courier.
The Ronald McDonald House in Barcelona, close to the Vall d’Hebrón Hospital, will provide a “home away from home” for families with children that suffer from serious illnesses, allowing them to reside there at no cost during the treatment they receive for their illnesses. By means of this collaboration, NACEX will help to meet the needs of all the families that stay in the room it sponsors, allowing them to switch off from the hospital in a space that is as similar as possible to a home.
The house has 15 rooms for families and various communal areas. The aim is to enable children that are receiving medical treatment to live a normal life, since it has been shown that being with the family or interacting with other children, outside the hospital, has a very favourable influence on recovery.
By collaborating with both organisations, NACEX contributes to health promotion and medical research, one of the main objectives of the Corporate Social Responsibility activities that have been initiated by NACEX over the years.
