Madrid, December 12, 2022.- Logista, a leading company in proximity distribution in southern Europe, has been selected by the IBEX’s Technical Advisory Committee (CAT) to join the IBEX 35, the Spanish Stock Market's national and international benchmark index. Thus, the company will be included in the selective index from next December 19, 2022. The company has a market capitalization of more than €3,100 million.

Since its creation, Logista has combined a strategy of growth through the constant expansion of its product and service offerings and diversification into new areas with the international expansion of its unique business model. This strategy has enabled it to maintain a solid financial position, even in difficult market situations, and to continue to create value in the medium and long term.

On July 14, 2014, the company returned to the Spanish stock markets, where it had been listed until 2008, and in 2015, Logista joined the IBEX Medium Cap index, with the largest companies by capitalization after those included in the IBEX 35. In 2018, it also became part of the IBEX Top Dividend index.

Nowadays, Logista continues to strengthen its already consolidated businesses, while expanding its business base, reinforcing its growth areas and increasing its relationship and services provided to manufacturers and points of sale thanks to constant innovation and the search for the best service to its customers. Furthermore,  Logista's  firm  commitment  to  sustainability  has  been  recognised  in  October  2022 by Sustainalytics, one of the leaders in the evaluation of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance worldwide, which, after evaluating the Company's ESG criteria, has awarded it an ESG risk  rating  of  13.7 points,  meaning  that  it  is  considered  to  be  at  Low  Risk  of  experiencing  material  financial impacts due to ESG factors and has awarded it accreditation as Industry TOP RATED 2022 – which values ​​high performance in its sector outside of Sustainalytics' comprehensive coverage universe-, achieving one of the 50 best ratings in the Transportation industry.

In addition, because of its firm commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, Logista has managed, for yet another year, to position itself among the leaders in the sector by being recognized in 2022 with an MSCI rating of AA, whose scale is AAA-CCC.
