Logista, the leading company in local distribution in Southern Europe, has incorporated the use of thermal protective covers to improve its deliveries of pharmaceutical products to Hospitals and Pharmacies.
It is the first company in Spain and Portugal to implement this initiative, which entails the use of protective covers to guarantee the quality of pharmaceutical deliveries, and it will be introduced on Logista Pharma's fleet of dedicated vans from December of this year.
“The period during which the products leave the vans until their receipt by the end client is when they experience most changes in temperature given that they are exposed to external environmental conditions. This solution provides additional protection against possible severe weather conditions and prevents the passage of direct sunlight, radiation, rain or heat”, explained Miguel Gómez Prado, Logista Pharma's Managing Director.
This initiative is part of Logista Pharma’s ongoing pursuit of continuous improvement, as well as the development of new added value services for a sector that is key to society and whose products must be distributed under maximum security and quality guarantees.
