- Specialising in the storage and transport of goods by land, sea and air, it was acquired in 2022 by Logista
Fernando López Miras, President of the Region of Murcia; the Leader of the Partido Popular, Alberto Núñez Feijóo; Jose Ángel Alfonso, candidate for Mayor of Molina del Segura; and Rebeca Pérez, Coordinator of the Partido Popular of Murcia, visited El Mosca on Friday, 3 February. This meeting was held as part of their route to discover in depth the business community in the Region of Murcia, and to visit the platform and highlight the company’s business not only in the Region, but also nationally and internationally.
Specifically, they saw the three sections of the warehouse with their installations; the various storage areas - both dry and temperature-controlled - and inspected the operation of the multishuttle, the semi-automatic trilaterals, and visited the sugar and plastic plants. The visit ended at the loading and unloading docks.
The El Mosca facilities have a large storage capacity with various degrees of automation and different temperatures, including a 22-metre high dry warehouse, a freezing plant that operates at between -21º and 12º and more than 100 loading and unloading docks, among others. All this is done to provide the greatest possible adaptability and versatility to adjust to any type of business.
El Mosca offers national and international intermodal transport services by road, sea and air. It has a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles, it employs around 1,100 workers and it has a network of 12 domestic and international branches. The integration of El Mosca into Logista has made it the first company from Murcia to join the Ibex 35.
For El Mosca, being part of a company like Logista means embarking on processes of transformation, innovation and continuous improvement that will allow it to continue growing in diverse business dynamics both nationally and internationally. The company already has a strong presence in China and America.
