  • Equipos & Talento awards the seal in recognition of initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion within companies

Logista, Europe’s leading logistics operator, has been awarded the ‘Diversity Leading Company’ seal by HR specialist Equipos y Talento in recognition of the company’s ongoing efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the group. Logista has won the award for the second year in a row, positioning the company as a leader in diversity.

 

Eva Imbernón, Logista’s Human Resources Director, received the award during the ‘Diversity & Inclusion Day 2024’ event that took place last Wednesday, 5 June at the Reina Sofía Museum. This is an event organised by Equipos y Talento for companies that are members of the Empowering Women’s Talent and Diversity Leading Company programmes, which aims to highlight companies’ commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion as a lever for change and development in companies.

 

“This seal is a great recognition for Logista as it demonstrates our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. We are convinced that promoting real diversity is enriching and brings great added value”, said Eva Imbernón on receiving the award.

 

Logista promotes its diversity and inclusion strategy with selection policies, such as the target that 50% of finalists in selection processes should be women, as well as the inclusion of specific plans to guarantee professional development opportunities for female talent; and the inclusion of equality and diversity goals in the variable remuneration targets for the Company’s managers.

 

At the event, diplomas were also awarded for the “Cross Mentoring” programme, an initiative of Empowering Women’s Talent, which aims to continue promoting the role of female managers in large companies and in which Logista also participates.

After assessing the Company’s ESG criteria, it has awarded it an ESG risk rating of 16.5 points, thus classifying it as being at Low Risk of experiencing material financial exposure to ESG factors and certifying it as Industry TOP RATED 2024 - which assesses high performance in its sector beyond the Sustainalytics comprehensive coverage universe - earning it one of the top 50 ratings in the transport industry.

 

Another consequence of its firm commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is that Logista has once again been placed among the leaders in the sector by being recognised in 2024 with an MSCI rating of AA, on a scale of AAA-CCC. 

 

Logista is also listed on the FTSE4Good IBEX index, which comprises companies that exhibit strong environmental, social and corporate governance practices, and on the Ibex Gender Equality index. It was also included in the Ibex 35 in 2022.
