  • The laboratories had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the operation of the Logista Pharma warehouse, as well as the specialised fleet of Nacex, Logista Freight and Logista Parcel.

Logista, one of the largest logistics operators in Europe, has organised a technical visit for more than 20 pharmaceutical laboratories with the aim of presenting its advanced processes in storage, distribution and transport of pharmaceutical products, guaranteeing maximum security and efficiency in the supply chain.

At the event, attendees were able to gain an in-depth knowledge of the operations at Logista Pharma's warehouse, where Good Distribution Practices (GDP) are strictly observed to guarantee the integrity of the medicines. The visit included a tour of Logista's specialised fleet, which integrates the services of Nacex, Logista Freight and Logista Parcel, with vehicles adapted to the specific needs of the pharmaceutical sector.

One of the key points of the experience was the visit to the Alarm Reception Centre, where the professionals were able to observe the real-time monitoring systems that Logista uses to ensure the traceability and security of shipments at all times.

Finally, the delegation travelled to the Nacex transit platform in Coslada (Community of Madrid), a key logistics centre for the fast and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical products throughout Spain.

Specialised transport

During the visit, transport and logistics specialists from the pharmaceutical laboratories had the opportunity to learn more about the operational processes of pharmaceutical logistics for order preparation, the different types of vehicles used, the classification within the logistics platform, the security measures for the surveillance of land transport of medicines, as well as technological innovations in this highly specialised field.

With initiatives like this, Logista reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence in pharmaceutical logistics, offering advanced solutions that guarantee the quality and safety of products at every stage of the supply chain.
