Logista Payments, a subsidiary of Logista, has signed an agreement with Eléctrica de Cádiz to enable customers to pay their bills in cash at tobacconists throughout Spain.
Starting this July, Eléctrica de Cádiz customers will be able to go to one of their nearest authorised tobacconists to pay their outstanding bills in cash, simply by presenting the payment document with the printed code, without having to travel or use digital means. The charge for this service is €1.50 and aims to make it easier, especially for elderly people without access to digital banking or in rural areas, to meet their obligations conveniently and securely.
This agreement allows Eléctrica de Cádiz to improve customer service by offering more facilities and greater accessibility to pay bills in cash, eliminating technological and geographical barriers. Thanks to Logista Payments' technology, the payment process is fast and secure. In addition, many people consider tobacconists to be a trusted distribution channel, which helps to bring this type of service closer to the population.
