  • The distinction, awarded by AECOC following an audit of the 2019–2024 plan, will be presented on November 19 at the Hotel Beatriz in Madrid.

Transportes El Mosca, a Logista company and one of Europe’s largest logistics operators, has received its first Lean & Green Star after an audit confirmed a 20% reduction in its carbon footprint over the period 2019–2024. This recognition, granted within the Lean & Green initiative coordinated by AECOC—the leading association for mass consumption in Spain—endorses the company’s commitment to decarbonizing logistics operations.

The star will be awarded on November 19 at the Hotel Beatriz in Madrid, during an event where AECOC will honor companies that have achieved milestones in the initiative this year.

Lean & Green is the largest European collaboration platform for decarbonizing logistics in supply chain companies. This international initiative aims to help companies across all sectors reduce greenhouse gas emissions from logistics activities to meet the carbon-neutral targets set at the Paris Climate Summit (COP21) for 2050. Setting measurable goals, collaborating with other companies nationally and across Europe, sharing best practices, and being a sustainability benchmark with a transparent and traceable monitoring system are just some of the advantages offered by this initiative.

Founded in the Netherlands, Lean & Green is now present in 14 countries and has more than 600 member companies across Europe, making it a leading European community for sustainable logistics.

Sustainability Recognitions

Logista continues to expand its partnerships to promote diversity and inclusion. In the past two years, it has strengthened its commitment to integration and social inclusion through key alliances: in March 2025, it renewed its agreement with the Real Madrid Foundation to support sports activities for children with disabilities from APANID. In April 2024, it signed an agreement with the “la Caixa” Foundation to incorporate people at risk of exclusion with post-hiring support. In June 2024, together with the Atlético de Madrid Foundation, it supported adapted football schools, and in September 2024, it joined the Inserta Agreement of the ONCE Foundation to boost the hiring of people with disabilities. Logista also maintains ongoing collaborations with the Red Cross and other organizations and runs a volunteer program with the Integra Foundation, which recognized the company in 2024 for its training efforts after training 337 people at risk of exclusion and with disabilities.
