Logista Pharma continues to advance in improving its logistics operations with the installation of an automatic loading and unloading system at its Leganés (Madrid) facility. This state-of-the-art technology enables the loading or unloading of a trailer with up to 33 pallets in under two minutes, optimizing restocking times between warehouses and enhancing efficiency, safety, and quality standards in pharmaceutical distribution.
Automating this process speeds up inbound and outbound goods operations and significantly reduces the risk of workplace accidents and product damage by minimizing manual intervention.
Logista Pharma has also incorporated an electric tractor for internal product transfers between centers, allowing these processes to be carried out without pollutant emissions. With these innovations, the company advances toward three strategic objectives: reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, promoting transport decarbonization, and developing and implementing energy efficiency measures.
