  • Logista Parcel is collaborating with CaixaBank to carry out 18 gift deliveries in Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona.

There are journeys that aren’t measured in kilometers or recorded on a delivery note, but instead go straight to the smiles of those who need them most. As part of the charitable initiative “The Tree of Dreams”, driven by CaixaBank to fulfill the Christmas wishes of children in vulnerable situations, on December 16, Logista Parcel trucks—the capillary transport subsidiary of Logista—will deliver more than 1,000 toys to social organizations focused on child care. This action aims to make these special dates meaningful for them as well.

This charitable action involves 18 deliveries in the Community of Madrid, along with additional routes in Valencia and Barcelona, and highlights something that often goes unnoticed: without logistics, many charitable actions would not reach their destination, neither on time nor in the right conditions.

“Coordinating these deliveries is, without a doubt, the most beautiful job of the year. Every route, every box, and every toy has a very special destination. Knowing that more than 1,000 gifts will reach children who truly need them makes every day exciting for the whole team,” explains Oscar Tocino, Deputy Director of Operations at Logista Parcel Iberia and coordinator of the deliveries.

To make the delivery possible, the Logista Parcel team has designed a specific operation that includes collecting the toys, sorting them, planning the routes, and making the final delivery to the receiving centers and organizations. All of this is synchronized so that the gifts arrive on time and in perfect condition.

“Our job is to make sure every delivery arrives on time. But when what we’re delivering are toys for children in vulnerable situations, we know we’re not just transporting boxes—we’re delivering joy. And that changes everything,” adds Alberto Pérez Salillas, General Manager of Logista Parcel.

With this initiative, Logista and Logista Parcel strengthen their commitment to social impact projects and position logistics as a social support where it is most needed. Logista has been collaborating for years with various institutions to support the social integration of disadvantaged groups of all ages and in different areas such as sports, employment, education, and, in general, improving people’s quality of life—a fundamental pillar of its social strategy.
