The Real Madrid Foundation Renews Its Collaboration with Logista to Promote Social Inclusion
- Emilio Butragueño and Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo renew the agreement between Logista and the Real Madrid Foundation at Real Madrid City.
The Real Madrid Foundation and Logista have reaffirmed their alliance by renewing their partnership, underscoring their strong commitment to the social inclusion of vulnerable children. Established during the 2023-2024 season, this agreement now enters its third edition, consolidating a socio-sports project at the Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza residential care centre of APANID (Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Disabilities).
The official signing ceremony, held at Real Madrid City, was attended by Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, and Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo, Director of Human Resources, Marketing and Communications at Logista, who formalised the continuation of this collaboration.
During the meeting, Emilio Butragueño highlighted the significant social impact of sustaining initiatives such as this:“We remain committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to high-quality educational sport that contributes to their personal and social development. Seeing their progress and their smiles is the true driving force behind this partnership."
Juan José Guajardo-Fajardo also spoke about the importance of the initiative for the company:“Once again, we are renewing our commitment to the Real Madrid Foundation, strengthening a long-term relationship. We are proud to continue contributing to the creation of opportunities for children in vulnerable situations.”
This agreement reinforces the work that the Real Madrid Foundation has been carrying out for more than 15 years in residential care centres managed by the Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Affairs of the Community of Madrid, using sport as a powerful tool for social transformation.
The APANID project supports children under the guardianship of the Community of Madrid due to a range of personal and family circumstances. Through the Foundation’s football and basketball schools, participants gain more than just access to sport: they find a safe environment where they can rebuild confidence, develop social skills and improve their independence.
Thanks to Logista’s support, the programme continues to provide a stable, high-quality resource for its beneficiaries. The continuity of the project contributes not only to their physical and emotional well-being, but also to their social inclusion and equal access to sporting opportunities.

In addition, Logista maintains ongoing collaborations with the Red Cross and other organisations, and runs a volunteering programme with Fundación Integra, which in 2024 recognised the company for its training work after having trained 337 people at risk of social exclusion and with disabilities.
