Logista presents a specialised transport offering for the fruit and vegetable market at Fruit Attraction

calendar September 29, 2026
  • Transportes El Mosca, Logista Freight and Logista Parcel bring together complementary capabilities to meet the transport, temperature control, traceability and distribution needs of fruit and vegetable products.

Logista Logista will participate in Fruit Attraction 2026 from 6 to 8 October, one of Europe’s leading fruit and vegetable trade fairs, where it will showcase its transport offering tailored to the specific needs of the fruit and vegetable market. This year, Fruit Attraction is expected to welcome more than 121,000 trade visitors, covering 162,000 square metres of exhibition space and bringing together more than 2,400 exhibiting companies from 124 countries.

Logista’s offering for this key industry event combines the capabilities of Transportes El Mosca, Logista Freight and Logista Parcel to support products across different stages and modes of transport. The aim is to provide the sector with a specialised solution that helps preserve the quality of fruit and vegetables, ensures shipment traceability and adapts to seasonality and peaks in demand.

Logista will be present at Fruit Attraction at stand 7D22 in Hall 7. Located at the heart of the trade fair, the stand will host numerous meetings between Logista’s fruit and vegetable transport specialists and producers, exporters, importers and distributors. These meetings will focus on understanding their needs in areas such as temperature control, seasonality, delivery times, traceability and access to new markets.

Transportes El Mosca: by road, sea and air

Logista subsidiary Transportes El Mosca brings extensive expertise in domestic and international freight transport by road, sea and air. Its operations include full truckload, groupage and less-than-truckload road transport, as well as sea and air freight solutions for import and export operations.

For the fruit and vegetable market, its offering is particularly focused on refrigerated and frozen transport, with bi-temperature and multi-temperature equipment, insulated vehicles and reefer solutions for maritime transport. These capabilities allow transport conditions to be adapted to the type of product and destination while maintaining temperature control throughout the journey.

Transportes El Mosca complements its transport services with temperature-controlled storage, goods handling and safekeeping, shipment tracking and support with customs procedures.

Logista Freight and long-distance transport

Logista Freight is a long-distance transport operator combining a logistics network, onboard technology, security systems and temperature control. For fruit and vegetables, it offers solutions designed to maintain product freshness and quality, including real-time temperature monitoring, preventive alerts and alternatives tailored to different types of fresh produce.

Logista Freight has the flexibility required to respond to seasonal peaks in the fruit and vegetable supply chain, while offering reliable delivery times and multimodal options by road, rail, sea and air. Its technology platform integrates real-time tracking and operational data to improve transport traceability and efficiency.

The company also holds IFS certification, covering quality, safety, legality, hygiene, traceability and the handling of food products throughout the logistics chain, all key considerations for the transport of fresh produce.

Logista Parcel’s complementary capabilities

Logista Parcel complements Logista’s transport offering with a leading last-mile temperature-controlled transport network for the pharmaceutical and food sectors in Spain and Portugal. With a fleet of more than 1,900 vehicles, over 2,000 employees and partners, and a network of 64 branches across Spain, Portugal and Andorra, it provides the extensive coverage and operational capacity needed to ensure the efficient distribution of products to their destinations and points of sale.

As part of the joint offering, Logista Parcel can provide complementary capabilities for operations requiring specialised distribution and continuity through to markets or final destinations.

The combination of these three businesses enables Logista to provide a flexible response to a wide range of needs, including domestic and international transport, long-distance transport, multimodal operations, temperature-controlled goods, tracking and traceability, and specialised distribution. Together, these capabilities form a turnkey offering that Logista makes available to the fruit and vegetable sector.

Commitment to Sustainability

Logista has a strong positioning in sustainability matters. The company has been included for ten consecutive years in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) index of the most sustainable companies, being the only logistics company to achieve this milestone. This is complemented by other notable ratings from Sustainalytics and MSCI. It has also been recognised for the sixth consecutive year in the Diversity Leaders 2026 ranking by the Financial Times and Statista, with a score of 72.78/100, maintaining leadership in the Wholesale category in Europe for the second year in a row and placing 11th among Spanish companies.

Within this framework, and as a continuation of initiatives promoted in recent years—which remain in force today—Logista continues to expand its partnerships to promote diversity and inclusion. In March 2025, it renewed its agreement with the Real Madrid Foundation to promote sports activities for children with disabilities from APANID; in April 2024, it signed an agreement with the “la Caixa” Foundation to support the integration of people at risk of social exclusion with post‑hire support; in June 2024, it supported adapted football schools alongside the Atlético de Madrid Foundation; and in September 2024, it joined Fundación ONCE’s Inserta Programme to promote the employment of people with disabilities. In addition, Logista maintains ongoing collaborations with the Red Cross and other organisations, and runs a volunteering programme with Fundación Integra, which in 2024 recognised the company for its training work after having trained 337 people at risk of social exclusion and with disabilities.
