The Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (Spain’s competition supervisor) has filed proceedings against a number of companies on possible anti-competition practices in the cigarettes manufacturing, distribution and commercialization national market.
As the CNMC acknowledges, this filing does not prejudge the final outcome of the investigation. The proceedings and the resolution by the CNMC’s Board must be completed within 18 months.
Logista will keep on collaborating with the CNMC during the proceedings and wants to make clear that it has always acted fully observant to current legislation in carrying out its operations according to its prevention and legal compliance plans. Logista wants to state that it has not carried out any anti-competition conduct.
