Integra2 officially opened last September 10th its new Badajoz premises at Mérida’s Polígono Industrial El Prado, a location with immediate access to highways and proper inner roads for turning circles of higher tonnage trucks.
The constant increase in demand for temperature controlled transport and warehousing services in Cáceres and Badajoz has been one of the main reasons for this investment, positioning Transportes Extremeños Ramón, Integra2’s exclusive partner, as the benchmark in temperature controlled transport and distribution in the Extremadura area, with premises exceeding 8,000m³ of capacity in refrigerated warehouses.
The premise has a total built area of 3,900 m² on a 70m x 45m rectangular area in an 8,100m² plot. It has 2,500m² devoted to logistics services, 12 docks for large tonnage trucks and 8 for vans and light vehicles. It also has a 1,000 m² area for controlled temperature between +2˚C and +8˚C with pre-chamber and protected docks for the proper maintenance of the cold chain. It further has 600m² built area in two floors connected to the distribution area for office space, IT systems and technologies, as well as reception desk.
Integra2 is the temperature-controlled capillary transport network part of Logista Group, the leading distributor of products and services to proximity retailers in Southern Europe.
