- LOGISTA PARCEL reaffirms the success of its temperature-controlled distribution network solutions after a 24-year ongoing partnership with the event.
For another year, NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and document delivery company, and Logista Parcel, the transport company specialising in temperature-controlled distribution for the pharmaceutical and food sectors, will be DIAMOND sponsors of Pharmalog, the benchmark event for pharmaceutical logistics leaders, to be held on the 17th of October in Madrid.
Promoted by iKn, the 24th edition of Pharmalog will focus on new strategies and smart workflows for resilient logistics. It will also address the major challenges facing pharmaceutical laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies, and cooperatives in the distribution of medicines and healthcare products. This includes the European and regional reform of the Law on Guarantees, shortages, and delivery times on transport routes.
During the event, Rakel Ramos, Director of the Northern Zone and Healthcare & Pharma Coordinator at NACEX, will present the new isothermal PHARMA BOX, the new NACEX service for shipments requiring strict temperature control between 2 and 8ºC and between 15 and 25ºC. In addition, in her presentation, entitled "Ensuring the integrity and safety of medicines in pharmaceutical distribution", she will discuss how to minimise cold chain risks during the transport of sensitive medicines, the environmental and operational benefits of optimising the supply chain, and the challenges and opportunities for innovation in pharmaceutical distribution.
For their part, Logista Parcel will enhance the visibility of their distribution services FRIOFARMA (2º/8ºC), FARMA<25º, FARMAPLUS (15/25º) and AMBIFARMA aimed at products that do not require specific temperature control within the hospital and pharmaceutical channel. In his participation in the conference programme, Oscar López Torralba, specialist in temperature-controlled transport and Head of Marketing at Logista Parcel, will analyse the success of the Logista model and reflect on the implications of ESG criteria as determining factors in the choice of sustainable transport network solutions for pharmaceutical distribution.
