- The event, chaired by Íñigo Meirás, CEO of Logista, and Manuel Orihuela, General director of NACEX, was attended by Óscar Puente, Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility; Óscar López, Minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, and Ángel Viveros, Mayor of Coslada.
Continuing with the celebration of its 30th anniversary, NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and document delivery company, organised today an institutional event at its Coslada hub on the 8th of April. The event, chaired by Íñigo Meirás, CEO of Logista and Manuel Orihuela, General Director of NACEX, was attended by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente; the Minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, Óscar López, and the city’s mayor, Ángel Viveros.
NACEX commemorates three decades of innovation and commitment to customers at this event, the key aspects that have led it to maintain continuous growth and position itself at the forefront of the express courier sector.
The event started with a guided tour of the NACEX cross-docking hub in Coslada, which is capable of handling and sorting an average of 53,000 shipments and 32,000 envelopes per day. It also has the latest recording, traceability, and security technologies. Accordingly, the facility has a Video-coding classification system to detect unread or erroneous labels; 153 Full HD digital cameras and temperature-controlled storage and pre-storage areas for the Pharma sector. The hub also counts on LEED Gold certification, reflecting its high level of sustainability.
Once the visit was over, it was time for the speeches. In his welcome speech, Manuel Orihuela, General Director of NACEX, wanted to dedicate a few words to the company's franchise network: “The exceptional dedication and commitment of our franchisees have been essential in our journey. Thanks to their efforts we have been able to meet our most ambitious objectives and offer a service of quality and excellence.”
For his part, Íñigo Meirás, CEO of Logista, emphasised: “Today we celebrate a significant milestone in the history of NACEX: 30 years of innovation and commitment to our customers, which have always been our priority. This anniversary not only marks three decades of continuous growth but also our dedication to excellence and sustainability.”
Ángel Viveros, Mayor of Coslada, added: “As mayor of this city, this is a suitable time to be thankful that a company such as NACEX has been here with us for 25 years of its 30-year existence. It is extremely important because it undoubtedly plays a privileged role in the powerhouse that the logistics and transport sector represents for the local, regional, and national economy."
“NACEX came into being in 1995, in a decade that was not easy for Spanish industry. But you committed to the project and got it right. From the very beginning, you believed in the possibility of combining logistical efficiency, customer focus, innovation and sustainability. Two decades ago, you modernised your order tracking service by incorporating the sending of SMS and emails to your customers. Today, you invest in AI, Big Data, and Augmented Reality. You were and are an example that shows that industry in Spain can and should grow,” added Óscar López, Minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service.
During the closing of NACEX’s 30th-anniversary event, the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, underlined that "The logistics sector has an essential and strategic role in the functioning of the economy and the transition towards sustainable and decarbonised mobility" and that their future lies in "the digitisation of its processes and for sustainability”. A challenge that is backed and promoted by the Government and the Ministry.
NACEX was founded in 1995 with a mission to provide the market with the highest quality express courier services. Its incorporation into Logista in 2002 propelled it to position itself as a benchmark company in its sector. In addition, it has been supported by a robust infrastructure and an innovative spirit. Thus, in 30 years, the company has tripled the size of its Network on the Iberian Peninsula and has recently extended its reach into Benelux via the acquisitions of Speedlink and Belgium Parcels Service. It is also committed to continuous improvement by investing in the latest technologies.
NACEX places customers at the centre of all its strategies, putting all of its resources into play to adapt to their needs and guarantee reliability. The success of this approach has been demonstrated by the results of its latest satisfaction survey: an overall score of 9.11, the best in its history, and an overall satisfaction index of more than 99%, almost one percentage point more than in 2023. In the same vein, NACEX Portugal has been recognised as "Recommended Brand 2025" in its category, by achieving the best score, 90.5.
"At NACEX, we have always focused on innovating to improve the efficiency of our operations. This is what has positioned us as a benchmark company in the sector and, above all, allowed us to boost customer satisfaction, one of our main priorities," concluded Manuel Orihuela.
